Barbara Strauss

of Swampscott, entered into rest on April 28, 2020, at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Jerome L Strauss. Devoted mother of Matthew Strauss and wife Danielle of Swampscott. Cherished grandmother of Joshua, Jacob, & Jacqueline Strauss all from Swampscott. The loving sister of the late Barry Kaufman and wife Cynthia. Dear daughter of the late William and Dianne Kaufman.

Barbara grew up in Winthrop, graduated from Winthrop High School, and raised her family in Revere and Randolph. She was a court stenographer and a home maker. Barbara loved going on over 30 cruises with her husband. She cherished her time spent with her family & friends.

A funeral service for Barbara will be held privately at Tifereth Israel of Revere Cemetery in Everett, MA. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, shiva has been omitted.
