Anne E. Grossman, age 89 died on Monday in the Woodbridge Assisted Living in Peabody. Born in Boston, she graduated from Salem High School and had formerly lived in Swampscott and Lynn for 45 years. She formerly worked as a salesperson at the Lynn Empire Store. She was a member of the Sisterhood of the former Cong. Anshe Sfard in Lynn, she also was a member of the United Order of True Sisters, B’nai B’rith, the North Shore Jewish Community Center in Marblehead. She was a volunteer for the North Shore Jewish Federation. She was an avid bridge player.
Beloved wife of the late Jerome Grossman. Devoted mother of Libby and her husband Skip Parsons of Peabody, Philip and his wife Nancy Grossman of Grand Rapids, MI, Rhonda and her husband Howard Baskin of Hartsdale, NY. Loving sister of Bernard Ross of Milton, the late Samuel Ross and Bella Goldberg. Cherished grandmother of Bryan Parsons and his partner Carlo Iyog, Traci and her husband Orlando Pacheco, Kay and her husband Matt Mata, Andy Grossman, David Baskin, and Sean and his wife Greer Baskin, and great-grandfather of Damani and Saliah Pacheco. Services at the Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin St., Salem-Swampscott line on Thursday, March 28 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the Cong. Anshe Sfard Cemetery, Danvers. The family will be receiving friends and relatives following the interment and on Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Skip Parson.
