Perry Lee Woodberry

Perry "Uncle Buddy" Woodberry was born May 6th, 1952 in Vaughn, Mississippi. He was born from the union of the late George “Buddy Boy” and Melvinia “Vinnie" Woodberry. Perry succumbed unexpectedly to heaven on Thursday June 30th, 2022, he was called home for eternal rest in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Perry was a beloved and devoted father, grandad, brother and uncle to all his family members.

Perry Woodberry lived in Mississippi for 17 years then moved to St. Paul, Minnesota and worked for the St. Paul public schools as a janitor from 1982 to 2015. He had a great love for exercise, biking, running especially around Lake Phalen. He always taught his family the importance of health and was always someone you can call when you needed help, additionally he kept his family very close to his heart. He will be missed dearly.

He is preceded in death by his parents; George and Melvina Woodberry, his brothers; George Henry and David Lee Woodberry, and his two sisters, Bertha Lee and Dorthy Jean Woodberry.

Perry is survived by his two children; Bradford and Melissa Woodberry, his grandchildren; Deniah, Deprice, Daylen, Devon, Demartino Woodberry, his brothers; Herman and James Woodberry, his sisters; Lillie Moore, Tricia Edwards and Georgia Mohammed, his ex wife; Patricia Menne and a host of great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

His visitation will be on Monday, July 11, 2022 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul, MN 55106. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to the Woodberry family.
