I will miss Mary.  I also have lupus and she was of tremendous support to me when things were really tough for me.  I will never forget her kindness and generosity.

Dear Joyce Family,
I just found out today about Mary's death when I asked Dr. Harkcom at my visit. He said that she had passed a couple of weeks ago. I was out of town or I would have attended the funeral.My heart goes out to you as Mary was such a special person and a dear friend of mine.  She gave all that she had to everyone and then God gave her rest.  My prayers are with you.  Nancy, Lupus friend.

Mary, you are deeply missed.  Thank for the many years of birthday cards.  You never forgot and there are alot of us, nieces and nephews, to keep track of.  Thank you for always being the teacher of the family and the one who always listened.  Your niece, Michelle.

I drive by the house today and it really hit me that I will not see Mary again. It has been a joy to work with her on the Crestview Board. I was glad to be a part of her latest family birthday gathering. What a wonderful family! I want to share my love of books with her again and learn from her about how to deal with the problems/ issues at Crestview. She has taught me much and been a wonderful neighbor. Peace and love to all of her family

I was saddened to hear of Ms. Joyce's death. I was a student in her class at Econ many years ago. She was such a good, strong minded teacher, always there to help her students.  My prayers are with her family at this difficult time.  She will be missed.

We were shocked and saddened by the news of Mary's passing. Mary was the loveliest person and was so delighted to be part of the Joyce clan. She was the one who caught us up on family news. We will miss her at the Dixon-Kelly Joyce reunion. Our heartfelt sympathies to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Mary's passing.  As a colleague of mine during the beginnings of computer technology, we spent many a time in classes and conferring with one another as to how best implement computers into the curriculum. She was a gift to the students she worked with and had their best interests at heart.  I have only fond memories of working with Mary in St. Paul.  May she rest in peace.

To the Joyce Family:  Sorry you have lost a member of your family.  Mary was one of the "California 4" in '67 which was a trip I took with her--one of the most unforgettable trips in my life!  Also, I will never forget her caring face (along with Peggy, another of the "CA 4" at my mother's funeral.  Bless you, Mary.

Mary was the glue in our family melting 
pot. Anything anybody wanted passed along to the rest of the family or the extended family could be assured of getting there if it went by Mary. I am proud to call her sister

Our friend Mary, a dear treasure of quiet but strong determination. Mary,and fellow teacher, Peggy, and I shared many marvelous travels together. Our trip to Ireland was perhaps Mary's favorite.

Mary,You have always been there for us.  Always generous and loving.  Your family was your pride and joy. You will be missed dearly by all.  Rest peacefully in heaven with Rita, Marissa and Dad. We love you.

Mary was the "keeper of the memories" with her book which was updated every year at the Dixon/Kelly/Joyce family reunion.  She will be missed.

Mary was the epitome of a kind giving woman. Selfless, loving, and so devoted to family and friends. We will miss her at our annual CAC gathering. She has brought such joy to us with her laughter, her quick wit, and her "green pride". Bless all of the Joyce family in the days ahead. She loved you so.
