He is preceded in death by his wife, Marlene Johnson (nee Schneller); parents, Russell and Marion; sister, Judy Casmey; niece, Michele Belknap and great nephew, Forest Sommer.
Gene is survived by children, Joseph Qualick, John (Molly) Johnson, Laura (Virgil) Churchill; grandchildren, Ashley, Beau, Aidan, Roland, Stella, Andrew, Leah; siblings, Janet (Tom) Kurhajetz, Jill (Mike) Habdas; and many loved nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral Service will be Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11:00 am with visitation 1 hour prior to service from 10:00 - 11:00 am at Woodbury Baptist Church, 6695 Upper Afton Rd., Woodbury, MN 55125. Interment Union Cemetery, Maplewood.
