Preceded in death by his parents, Ruth and Nels; sister, Majel Secrest; brothers, Merlin and Robert and other family and friends who are dearly missed.
Survived by his wife Barb; step daughters, Cara and Becky; and many other family and friends.
Duane was born in St. Paul and graduated from Harding High School and St. Paul Vo-Tech. Duane served in the United States Army and was a Korean War Veteran.
Duane retired from the US Postal Service and spent much of his free time fishing, hunting and walking the lakes. Duane was a big Twins and Vikings fan.
In celebration of Duane’s life, a service of remembrance will be held 11AM Tuesday, December 5th with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at First Lutheran Church, 463 Maria Ave, St. Paul, MN. Private interment at a later date.
