Passed away on December 21, 2014. Taught at Farnsworth & Cleveland Junior High. Served 3 terms in the State Legislature from 1964 to 1970. Long-Term Labor Activist for the teacher’s union; Vice President of AFL-CIO; and Member of Ramsey County Hospital Board. Preceded in death by Wife, Constance (in 2005); Brother, James Lindahl; & Sister, Jean Franz. Survived by 3 Daughters: Laurie Lindahl, Mary Hennessy (Kevin) & Marcia Lindahl; 5 Grandchildren: Andrew Lindahl Hestness, Alex Maupin Hennessy, Robyn Lindahl DeMars, Grace Louise Hennessy & Amelia Marie Kohn; Great-Granddaughters, Jade Sky & Autumn Grace Hennessy; Sister, Lois Kern of Loveland, Colorado. Memorial Gathering from 2–4 PM on Saturday, January 3 at Wulff Funeral Home, 1485 White Bear Ave., St. Paul. Private Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
