My condolences on the passing of your father.
I had the good fortune of having your father as my 6th grade teacher at Farnsworth in 1963.Everyone remembers where they were when Pres. Kennedy was assisinated
I was in your father's classroom when he  informed use in a calm manner of the trajedy.He was one of my favorite teachers.

Bruce will be remembered as a much appreciated leader in the community especially on the East Side.

I was surprised to see Bruce in the paper.  I'm 69 years young and had Bruce for a teacher in sixth grade at Farnsworth. 
He was a kind man. He lived a long life.

What I enjoyed most about Bruce was his sense of humor and his delight at Connie's quick and sharp wit. But what I loved most was his kindness.

Laurie, Mary, Marcia, I am so sorry for your loss.

Mary, Marcia, Laurie and families, We were saddened to hear of your loss of your father's presence. But, his legacy will definitely live on, as it already does through you three beautiful daughters. I remember his as being so kind, gentle, smart, funny, and loved being involved in the community, and good math teacher! It was an honor to know him (and your mother), the little that I did. I expect that they are dancing together now as they say to each other, "Job well done!"  You have great loving family roots, and they will always be part of you. Our condolences during this time of sadness for you.

Marcia and family - my thoughts are with you as you say good-bye to Bruce.  I have very fond memories of him at the gatherings yours and out families had.  Those memories will keep him with you always.   Meg Kohn

Bruce Lindahl - a prince of the Eastside.  Much love.

Bruce will be remembered with affection for his fine mind and generous heart. He fed a cast of thousands, french fries and grilled cheese sandwiches every Sunday night.  May God hold him in his loving arms as his girls have throughout his life.  The end of an era has folded its wings with eternal grace.

Our thoughts and prayers to the Lindahl family.  Bruce was such an interesting man that led an interesting life.  He will be greatly missed, along with that sense of humor that he never lost.

Marcia, our deepest sympathies and condolences to you and your extended family on the passing of your father.  He was a sweet man.  He served this country, this state, and the people in so many ways and I know he leaves an even bigger hole among his family.
