Another Veteran faded away on Thursday, September 17, 2015. August was preceded in death by his Parents, Adolph and Minnie; Two Sisters; and Two Brothers. He is survived by his Loving Wife of 69 Years, Mary; Three Daughters, Patricia Flaten, Jane Peters, and Bette Turek; Three Grandchildren; Five Great-Grandchildren; and Many Friends and Relatives. Celebration of Life Gathering on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 6:00 PM at The Lodge, 3666 E. Co. Line Road N., White Bear Lake, Minnesota. Private inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
