Velma L. Morrison

Preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Richard D. Morrison and her first husband, Albert Denton after 4 years and 10 months of marriage; her late sister, Rosalie Preszler and her late brother, J.B. Brewen; survived by her dear sisters, Gladys (Julius) Preszler of Portsmouth, NH and Priscilla (James) Wade of Park Hills, MO; sister-in-law, aunt, great-aunt, great-great-aunt and friend to many.

Mrs. Morrison taught school for 26 years and is a life member of NEA, MNEA and MSTA. She also was a charter member of Fellowship Class, a member of United Methodist Women and a 50+ year member of Union United Methodist Church of St. Louis, MO.

Funeral services at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson on Tuesday, September 27 at 11:30 a.m. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Memorials to Union United Methodist Church, 3543 Watson Rd. (63139).
