Samantha is survived by her children Colby Graves and Kaileigh Graves; her parents Paul Ketchum and Marilyn Merkle; her brothers Jesse Merkle and Jeff Rogers (Rachel Davidson); her nephews and nieces Brandon Merkle, David Merkle, Madison Rogers and Caitlyn Rogers. She is further survived by her aunt and uncle Bill and Karen Swinhart, cousins Shanon Swinhart (Tony Ventimiglia), Autumn Green and Nicole Green.
Samantha was preceded in death by her stepfather Derek Hills, and grandmother Edna Green.
Who was Samantha? She loved her kids. She loved going places with them and doing things with them. Some of her favorites included going to the Zoo, the Science Center and swimming at the river. She loved to shop. In fact some might say she was a shopaholic. Some of her favorite things were Halloween, horror movies and haunted houses. She loved her hair in all sorts of colors and cuts. All things cosmetics were a must. Cheeseburgers and Taco Bell were tops. Snap-chat was the best thing ever. Spending time with her children, her parents, brothers, family and friends was what it was all about.
Visitation for Samantha is Saturday, March 7, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, Saint Louis, Missouri 63125. The funeral service follows at 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to offset funeral expenses may be made to Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Saint Louis, Missouri 63125 in Samantha's memory.
