Robert Leroy Silvestri Jr.

Beloved son of Edna “Hedy” Harden (Keith Brown El, special friend) and Robert L. (Marie) Silvestri, Sr.; dear brother of Tony and Steven Silvestri; dear stepbrother of Natasha Nicole Hurd and Donyell Brown; dear uncle of Tyrie and Tyjah Powell and Tyden Johnson; Robert is survived by 6 uncles, 7 aunts, a host of cousins, and countless friends.

Rob graduated from University City High School in 1987 and from Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville in 1993. He worked at Washington University School of Medicine and Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital until his many physical ailments forced him out of the workforce. Rob loved people, especially children, and animals. He volunteered for Animal Rescue and many other humanitarian efforts. He was a Buddhist and member of SGI Community Center in St. Louis. Rob was a loving man with many dreams, held back by illness.

Services: Visitation on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Kriegshauser West Mortuary, 9450 Olive Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63132 from 1:00 pm until Service of Remembrances which will begin at 3:00 pm.
