Loving father and best friend to Debby Fields, Theresa Malone, Richard and George (Leisa) Schumacher. Dear brother of Peggy (Ronald) Johnson. Dearest grandfather of Ashley (John) DesRoches, Kimberly, Andrew (Amy) and Alan Fields and great grandfather of 7.
Robert was a past Post Commander for American Legion Post 162, Lemay, Missouri.
Funeral service to be held on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at 9:30 a.m. at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation Monday, March 23, 2015 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Memorials to the Disabled American Veterans appreciated.
