I miss you more and more each day papa. In less than 4 months, I'll be graduating. I know you'll be with me on stage. I love you to the moon and back.

It's been over a year since  u left us .....I miss u more everyday . Nothing is the same.... I love u Daddy . I love when u come and visit me in my dreams ....gives me peace of mind for just a little while ....ALWAYS ON MY MIND AND FOREVER IN MY HEART

Ricky and I hung out at a few Steak and Shakes in Lemay and Mehlville in the early 70's.  He had a Chevy Nova with a 194 engine and I had a 65 Dodge Dart with a 173.  We used to race down Broadway and he would normally win.  I bought a 1967 Honda Super Hawk motorcycle from him.  I didn't see after high school as we went to different school.  I always wanted to know what happened to him and I'm sorry about his passing.  I thought he was a first class guy.  Rest in Peace my friend.

My family and I are praying for his memory to live on through each one of you. That all of your memories are kept close to your heart. I can imagine this is going to be easy as I have read so many good things posted about his kind heart. Take special care. From my heart, Cindy

To my brother Rick, who I will never forget the rest of my life, my prayers will always be for your family. And I will always be there for my sister Kathy. Your at rest now, There is joy and peace up in heaven, when you see my grandma, and Dad give them a big hug from all of our family here. And we will see them someday your loving brother EJ.

You're the best Uncle anyone could have! I'm not going to say goodbye because I know you're still with us, even if we can't see you. It's just a matter of time.  Until then, I'll cherish all the memories of growing up with card game filled weekends and holidays.  Particularly the one at Roy and Joan's house when I was sitting on my daddy's lap watching you guys play cards and ruining the game as I read the cards aloud! Sorry about that!!  I'll love you always!!

You were an amazing daddy, that shows through your kids!  
You were an amazing husband, that is obvious when you talk to Kathy!
Surely, as an angel in heaven, you'll be a special protector over them.

There will not be a day that goes by that I don't think about you, you were a great man. I will alway be there for the family. Fly high uncle Ricky. I love you!!!

Dad Wilson,  I like to think I'm lucky.  I have two wonderful men in my life that I call Dad.  I am forever great full that you allowed me to be part of your amazing family. You have brought so many memories to my life as a kid and i am blessed god reunited me with your family as an adult.  I thank you for your part in my life. I picture you in the arms of God & your family. Ricky you were my life, the air I breathed,which does not come easy now with you gone, but you gave me 2 beautiful children to carry on with. I look at them& see so many things that you instowed in them. I thank you for that. They are what keeps me going everyday now. Which in turn they gave us grandchildren. Our love will continue on threw them. Our Love will never die!!! It has only been 4 weeks and I feel I am going to wake up soon from this nightmare, but it's real. It is my life now. I have to figure out how to live without you. Living with you only in my heart is difficult. I can only hold on tight to the memories, which they are abundance of them. Please watch over our family as I know you will. I will hold our love together for the rest of my life. I hold our hand mold almost everyday which comforts me at times, I can look and feel your hand around mine. Thank you Amber Cobb for your wonderful gift. Ricky I hope you knew what you meant to people. I didn't know a soul that did not care for you, you were a magnet to people. You were kind, loving and respectful to everyone. We will cherish that forever. I know you are no longer In pain and that comforts me. Please my love don't forget me and wait for when its my turn to arrive. Forever and ever I will miss you. To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

 Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
 Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
 That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
 God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

 It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

 God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not  be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,

You were the coolest person ive ever met. I am so lucky to have had you as my father. I told you I will take care of mom, Beth and Alyssa. Hey Papa, I hope your watching over me. I miss you so much. I've done nothing but think of you. Even though you're not here with me to hug, you're still in my heart. I hope you know how much I love you and miss you. I literally can feel my heart aching when I think of you being gone. You were and still are perfect to me. No one could ever make me laugh and smile the way you did. I never pictured you being gone. You fought for a long time, but you wanted to go home. I know you'll be there with me when I walk across stage and graduate and then go off to college. I know you're proud of me. My life will never be the same without you. The holidays will be different because I won't get to see your smile. I remember the time you tried teaching me softball and you threw the ball at me and it hit me in my face! When I first met a kid named Ricky Wilson in 1971, Dad and I  & EJ liked you from the start. In 1973 when you started dating my Kathy, Dad & I were so happy!! And I knew in my heart that you would be my son-inlaw. God sent you in my family. EJ & I for the past 4 1/2 yrs since Dad passed, we could call you anytime and you would be here to fix things in our home. EJ loved you as a brother since he was 12yrs old. Papa, my heart aches. I want you back.. It hurts walking I to the house and not seeing your face or hearing you say "Hey Paigey Poo" or "I love you." I'll never forget your voice or laugh. You had a laugh and smile that could light up a room. You were such a huge impact on my life and you helped me through everything. You were and still are the most perfect grandpa there ever was! I'm going to miss you putting my hair in pig tails and tugging on them. I'm going to miss your sweet voice or hearing your contagious laugh. You have me hope in that I could do good in school and get good grades! I made a promise. I'll never forget that promise. I'll never let you down. You never let me down.. Never! I just miss you.. I didn't get to go on that fishing trip with you. What hurts the most is that you won't be able to see me walk across stage at graduation and I lost the best papa ever. I'm trying to be strong but it's hard.. Your sense of humor was my favorite thing about you, you knew how to brighten my day by just saying hey or i love you. I wish I could hear your voice one last time just saying "I love you Paigey poo." I love you so much papa, always watch over me! I'll never forget all the memories we had together! You'll always be in my heart.

I just found out very sorry to hear of Rickys passing my condolences to his family.

Ricky you were the only person I knew, that no one ever had a bad word to say about.I told you that a few years ogo. You were the kindest person I ever met.  Just A Great Guy.The world lost something.

Gin, Pinocle, Hand and Foot, Poker, won't be the same without you yelling at me to hurry up, then you take 15 min to decide what you were going to do. I Will miss you deeply dear brother.

There are no words that can adequately describe you.  I know you are in heaven and that gives us peace and joy, as we will see you again, probably waiting to play cards, fishing, and many other things you have loved to do.  To Kathy, you have experience a love that goes beyond anything a lot of people do not experience, praying that will comfort you during this time of grief.  To Ginny and Bobby, what a wonderful father you had, Ricky loved you both, even when you didn't do what he thought you should do, that is love unconditional, amazing.  Roy and I have lost a friend, but have gained a brother in Christ Jesus, that we are eternally grateful.  I can only imagine what Rick is doing in heaven now, JOY.  We will miss him, but God does promise we will see him again.  I definitely will miss how much you love to tease Kathy when we played cards and give that smirky smile to us.  It is true Ricky had a smile that made the rest of us feel a part of his family.  You will truly be missed.  I am not sure how Roy will do without talking to you are the 'football, basketball, and of course playing gin".  You were a brother to him he never had, thank you for that.

Ricky, I haven't seen you in awhile.  But always think about you and Freddie. You made working at Chrysler a lot of fun. Always enjoyed seeing your smiling face. And it was always fun working with a great prankster. Thank you for making work an enjoyable place to be. Ricky was one of the most kindest, friendliest, enjoyable people that I have ever known. Sorry for the loss of a wonderful family member. I am praying for the family to find strength during this time and to find peace in knowing how much Ricky was loved by all and how much he loved in return. God bless and I love you.

Rickey as I told you,  Steve and I will always be there for Kathy and the kids, they will know they are loved and watched over.  Every thing in my heart tells me, they can get through this with time, but honestly honey you are the one man in our lives that can never be replaced, ever.  Now who is going to give us all the facts you spouted to us about every subject around, while we were playing cards?  Of course "you were always right."  I loved you as the "cute and pretty" baby brother , and the young teen who hung around with your sister and her older friends,  the loving , smart,( who could do anything "fix it" brother), grown man you became. You will always be with Steve and me when every we do anything to the house, because you always wanted to tear the house down and build it your way from scratch, Kathy always had to pull you back  a bit or we and her would be in the poor house if we let you get out of control. But darn if your way sounded perfect to me every time.
Just tell mom and dad I really am getting lonely here as they slowly gather their family  back up to them. Give them and my boys a big hug for us.  I will love and miss and think about you every single day. I am just thankful you are no longer in pain but the empty place in my heart just seems to be getting bigger with the years. I was very blessed you were my brother.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy and Jenni and Bobby and their family's Rick you were such a amazing husband ,father and grandpa .brother and cousin You always had a way of putting a smile on faces of others.
