Patricia Fair Wyneken

Patty was educated in the Detroit Public Schools, graduating from Cooley High School and she attended Wayne State University. On August 14th, 1954 she married Warren W. Wyneken in Fenton, Michigan at Fenton Methodist Church. Patty and Warren had three children. She was a homemaker and was also employed at Wayne State Registrar’s office, with Capital Airlines in Washington D.C. and Chicago, and at the Fort Wayne National Bank.

Surviving are her brother, Robert Bennett Fair Jr. of Novi, MI, sons Matthew F. Wyneken, Ph.D (Krista Hansen) of Grand Blanc, MI, and Col. Brian P. Wyneken (Anne Wyneken) of Hopkins, MN, and daughter Claire L. Wyneken (Patrice Crotty) of St. Louis, MO. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Caitlin, Henry, and Russell, and by five nieces, one nephew, and many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Bennett Fair and Edith Elisabeth Pugsley Fair, and by her husband of 58 years, Warren W. Wyneken (2012).

No service or calling. Arrangements by Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary in St. Louis, MO. She will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery alongside her husband, Warren. There will be a graveside service at that time. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Fort Wayne Youtheater, Wyman Center (St. Louis, MO), and the Nature Conservancy.
