Patricia Adele Kain, age 84, born Patricia Adele Ludwig, on Dec. 27, 1932, in St. Louis, passed away peacefully on Mon. Aug. 21, 2017, at Alexian Brothers Lansdowne Village. Baptized and confirmed in the faith at Bethesda Evangelical and Reformed Church at Hoffmeister Ave. in Lemay, Mo. Married in Piggott, Ark. to Charles Kain on Sept. 4, 1948, (for 56 years). Mother of Robert (Ann) Kain, Richard (Susan) Kain, Kurtis (Carrie) Kain, Kevin (Jeanne) Kain and Kristine (Colby) Whitehead. Preceded in death by her loving husband Charlie, her parents, Edgar and Marie Ludwig; siblings Robert Griser, Stanley Griser Sr, Ellen (Payne) Griser and John Griser. Loving mother aunt, and great-aunt; grandmother to Jeffery, Gina, Leandra, Nicholas, Janet, Matthew, Pamela, Michael, Lori, Nicole, Amanda, Emily, Lauren, Tyler, Andrew and Erica; great-grandmother to Ezekiel, Samuel, Julie, Joanna, Miley, Madison, Addison, Savannah and Ruby. Also a good friend and bingo buddy to more. Funeral service 9:45 am Fri. Aug. 25. Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. 63125. Interment to follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Visitation at the funeral home 4-8 pm Thurs. Aug. 24.
