Marilee Ginther Kovac, fortified with the Sacrament of Holy Mother Church, died Friday, September 2, 2022 just a month shy of her 90th birthday. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Jerome Blase Kovac. Mother of Linda (Roger) Baltes, Jerry Jr., Peggy (Bill) Fisher, Doug (Donna), Christine, and Sharon (Jeff Hall); Grandmother to Marc, Patrick, Jamie, Doug Jr., Michael, Abby, the late Dominique, Danielle, Henry and Louis; GG to 13 great grandchildren.
Marilee was the last and youngest of the 14 Ginther children. She was a member of Epiphany Parish since 1961. She and her sister, Margaret, started the annual Epiphany Flea Market. Her other talents were on display through her love of arranging flowers and decorating the church, for which she was honored by the Archdiocese.
SERVICES: Visitation 9:30am until 10:30am Monday, September 12, 2022 at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary. Funeral Mass 11am Epiphany of our Lord Church 6596 Smiley Ave St. Louis, MO 63139. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
