Louise Houston Rolwing

Louise Houston Rolwing, 69, of St. Louis, MO, passed away on August 19th, 2014 after succumbing to multiple cancers. She was born on December 12, 1944 to Persis D. (Elise Lindenberg) Houston, Jr., an old Nashville banking family. On July 29, 1972 she began dating John M. Rolwing and on February 3, 1973 they were married and happily spent 41 years together. During her life, she was highly involved with Junior League and became deeply involved with The Miriam School as an aide. She even spent one year on the school board. She found her true calling in the preparation of the best home cooked meals possible. She also loved her 90 house plants. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. She is survived by her loving husband, John M. Rolwing and her brother Peter D. (Lynda) Houston, III.
