Lorraine M. Miller (nee Harbur) fortified with the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, died peacefully on Monday, August 8, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Stanley Miller, dear mother of Carole (Bruce) Bohnert, Mary Ann (Jack) Yahl, Dan (Kim), John (Anne), J.Miller and Steve (Linda) Miller. Loving grandmother of Christopher (Elizabeth), Betsey (Michael), Emily (Matt), Audrey (Melinda), Elisabeth (Jomar), Timothy, Andrew (Cassandra), Katie and Maura (Brad); great-grandmother of Tessa, Zane, Elliott, Grady, Charlotte, Maya, Alyssa, Jaxin, Lydia, Brock, Grace, Ellie and Cooper; great-great grandmother of Tobias; dearest sister of Leanna Finnegan; dear aunt and friend.
Lorraine was 95 when she died and led a full life centered around her family. She was a graduate of Rosati-Kain High School, De Paul Hospital School of Nursing and the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program at Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital. For many years she worked in the Kirkwood School District as a school nurse and with the developmentally disabled in St. Louis County. She loved her faith community and was a Stephens Minister at Mary, Mother of the Church. Additionally she enjoyed sewing, working in her flower garden and visiting the Missouri Botanical Garden. At her request, her body was donated to St. Louis University Medical School.
A memorial Mass will be held at Mary, Mother of the Church 5901 Kerth Rd. on Saturday, September 24th at 10:30AM with family visitation at 9:30AM.
