Linda Marie Sigman

Sigman, Linda (nee Geil), fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully at her home on December 26, 2016 after bravely battling breast cancer. She was the loving mother to Becky, Steven and Michael Sigman. Daughter of Warren (deceased) and Irma Geil.

Linda was born on March 11, 1958. She attended Notre Dame High School, where she excelled in academics and swimming. She was awarded a scholarship for swimming and went on to swim at Saint Louis University where she earned a degree in biology.

Linda’s three children, were her greatest source of joy, inspiration to sacrifice everything and biggest reason to smile. She proudly attended all their activities and supported all their endeavors. Her greatest gift to her children was her daily example of her Catholic faith and her devotion to Our Lady of the Perpetual Help. She sang in the St. Clement Choir and was very supportive of the pro-life efforts there. Linda placed all her trust in God and led a simple, faith-filled remarkable life.

Visitation will be at St. Clement of Rome Church, 1510 Bopp Rd., Des Peres, MO 63131 from 4-6 on Thursday, December 29th, followed by A Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 p.m. to celebrate Linda’s life.
