Larrry taught me how to fish for bass and crappie down at Tantara. I remember his support when my youngest left for college out of state and later when I had TMJ surgery. His quick wit  is still remembered and appreciated. 

My condolances to the family.  Larry was my 2nd cousin ... my grandfather, Ivan Leavitt, was brother to Larry's father, Simon.  My mother is Linda, Ivan's second daughter.

We attended Fairview High School with Larry and also knew Jane.  We were so happy to see him and visit with him at our 50 yr. reunion in Sept. 2011, when we also had the pleasure of meeting Joyce. What a great loss!  He was a good man full of life and vitality. He left us too early.  Our heartfelt sympathy to Jane and to Larry's entire family. Larry had always been a great friend.  Our Westport group became very close over the years.  It was always a special trip when we met up at the Lake.  His loss will leave a great void in Connie's and my life.  I really want to meet old friends and relive the great memories of Larry but am out of town at a continuing education seminar. Having had the honor of working for Larry for 10 years and being accepted by him as a friend, he is at the top of my list as one of the most unique individuals I have ever known. Within Larry there were no airs, on the business field or off. What you saw is what you got and he was comfortable in his skin. He maintained friendships equally regardless of how long he knew you. I will miss his fabulous sense of humor, love for life, and unrelenting positive attitude. Rest in peace my friend.
