Born in East St. Louis on September 25, 1934, the son of Edwin and Winifred Frick.
Loving husband of Sharon Frick; dear father of Karla (Dan) Rayburn, Julie Jeffery, Vicky (David) Hunt, and the late John Frick; beloved grandfather of Cody Sanders, Dustin Gould, Candace Courtway, Cori Gould, Daniel Rayburn Jr.
John was the last of 12 brothers and sisters.
He was a retired maintainence worker with MDOT after 13 years of service and was an Army veteran.
He loved music, being a vocalist and keyboard player for many years with his dear wife Sharon.
Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Friday, October 7, at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. where the family will receive friends, Thursday, from 4:00 - 8:00 P.M. Interment in National Cemetery, Jefferson Barracks, with full military honors.
Memorials in John's memory may be made to St. Anthony's Hospice.
