Flavan, John Moloney of The Villages, passed away at his residence on April 23, 2012. Survivors include his brother David B. Flavan, Jr. of St. Charles, MO; sister Mary A. Flavan, MD of Morro Bay, CA; his brother-in-law Laurence White of St. Louis, MO; nieces and nephews and their children; the son he never had, John Luth of Summit, NJ and NYC; and treasured friend of the entire family, Warrene Cannon of Tampa, FL; as well as many wonderful cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents David B. and Lucy Moloney Flavan, his sister Lucy Flavan White and his nephew Dennis Flavan.
Services: Memorial Mass Saturday, May 26, 2012, 10 a.m. at St. Genevieve du Bois Catholic Church, 1575 North Woodlawn, Warson Woods, MO. Interment private, Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The ALS Foundation, Cornerstone Hospice or The College of The Holy Cross. Arrangements by Kriegshauser West Mortuary.
