Beloved husband of the late Eleanor M. (nee Kimmich) Venverloh. Loving father of Elaine (David) Bell, Thomas, Chris (Kathy), Annette (Bill) Gallahue, Laura (Joseph) Marino. Dearest grandfather of Paul Winka, Rebecca (Timothy) Winka-Nordmann, Melissa (Mike) Murphy, Jason (Kristine) Venverloh, Josh (Dawn Blaylock) Venverloh, Henry and Kalinda Kuehner, Amanda Marino, Alex (Kristen Williams) Marino, Andrea Marino, Kristin and Kelsey Gallahue. Dear great grandfather of Natalie Causey Kuehner, Evelyn Kuehner Schmitz, Dominic and Olivia Venverloh, Jasmine Destiny and Devin Sanders. Dear brother of the late Louis (late Mary Louise), late Virginia (late John) Anderson, late Lt. Cmdr. Dorothy Venverloh, Elizabeth (late Daniel) Staufenbiel, Jeanne (late Carl) Klebusch, Bernard (Joan), Daniel (Carol) and the late Susan (late David) Barrett. Dearest brother-in-law, uncle, godfather and friend to many.
Jerry was a member of the SJA Holy Name Society and Athletic Assn. He was a member of the OLS Boy Scout Troop 51 Lion Patrol for which he later became Scout Master. He worked as a volunteer at the Missouri State Psychiatric Hospital and was a member of the Friendship Force International. Jerry was a tool and die maker and a proud member of the Machinist Union District 9.
Funeral from Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa at Watson, on Tuesday, July 19, 2016 at 12:30pm to St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church for Mass at 1:00pm. The interment will follow in Sts. Peter and Paul Cemetery. Visitation: Monday at Hoffmeister from 3-8pm. If desired, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association or Boy Scouts of America.
