Jeffrey C Powers

Jeffrey C. Powers passed away May 12, 2015 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of twenty years to Delores Powers, (nee; Myers); loving son of the late Beuford & Anna Mae (nee Gooding) Powers; dear father of Jerry (Ellen) Powers, Terry Powers and Christy Powers; loving step-father of Melissa Stanfield, Jessie Fields and the late Jodie Cribbs and Franklin (Leeann) Fields. Loved by 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; dear brother of Susann Rosales, Lou Ann Barczykowski and Scott Powers. Our beloved uncle, cousin and friend.

Jeffrey was an over the road truck driver. Truck driving was his passion and he enjoyed his time on the road. He worked hard as a professional driver working for various companies over the years. He liked doing things old school and never used a GPS. While he had a passion for driving, he loved his family and family always came first. While it is difficult to say good-bye and let go we trust he is at peace.

SERVICES: Visitation, 4-8 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., Lemay, MO 63125. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday May 15, 2015 in the funeral home chapel. Following the funeral an interment will take place in Mt. Hope Cemetery. In memory of Jeffrey contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 9370 Olive Blvd, Olivette, MO 63132.
