Riley family please except our heart felt condolences.  I can remember as a child how much my parents thought of Uncle Jim, as a good man and devoted husband and father.  Dorothy and Jim have waited a long time to be reunited.  May they enjoy eternal life together.  Michael & Abbey Cox

Sandy, Linda, and Jim - Our sincerest sympathy to your families on the passing of your dad.  He was a good man, and I feel fortunate to have known him.  I am grateful for all he did for my Aunt Olie (Vi), and happy that they had so many years together.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you - sorry we could not be there in person. Dear Jim and Mary and your entire family,
I am so sorry for your loss.  You will be in my prayers. 

Growing up off Susan Rd., and our parents being friends, I got to know your parents.  Your mom was always so sweet to us kids and sadly died too young. Then, your dad was blessed to fall in love again by the grace of the Lord. Your dad was always friendly and kind to us when we were growing up.

Even as we each left our childhood home, whenever I'd see him out in public he always said hi and asked how I was doing. I'd update him and tell him how mom and dad were doing. Your dad, even though I didn't see him a lot as I got older,  is a cherished childhood memory of kindness and a memory of a loving smile. 

I will cherish the memories of seeing him cutting his grass while I jogged  by your parents' house, during my days of HS track, and we'd exchange waves, or running into him at church and he'd always say hello, or running into to him in Oakville usually at a restaurant or grocery store, or the most common one was seeing him unload his golf clubs from his car! 

Mr Riley, may you Rest In Peace. Keep swingin' in Heaven!

Heartfelt condolences to all of you. I got to know your dad through the Christmas cards we received every year. He always wrote a special little message in each of them. Mostly about how he was working on his boat "the Jim Dandy". :)
I have heard fun stories about him from Riley (Johnnie) but never had the chance to meet your dad.
You can tell he was a great father just by seeing his wonderful kids.
Thinking of you all. Take care and keep the stories alive through your kids, grand kids & friends.
