Irving Charpiot was one of the most friendly and caring person I have ever had the pleasure of knowing.  Although I am not a relative of Irv, I often felt at times that I was.  Irv and my late father, Thomas Leichenauer,  worked and retired from Union Electric ( now known as Ameren).  My whole family always felt very close to both Irv and Dorothy.  As kids,  I can remember our family going to Irv and Dorothy's house for New Year's Eve.  Likewise they would come to our house for Christmas Eve.  I also remember that Irv use to wear his hair longer than most men his age but always kept it neatly groomed.  My husband and I want to extend our sincere condolences to Dorothy and any other family and friends of Irving Charpiot.  He will be greatly missed!
