Mrs. Morgan was a longtime member of the Crestwood Christian Church.
Mrs. Morgan was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel C. and Helen (Stahler) Schaefer, her husband, Charles E. Morgan, their infant son, Charles E. Morgan Jr., five sisters, a brother, two nieces and a nephew. Mrs. Morgan is survived by her niece, Rosemary Wolf, nephews, Dale G. (Carolyn) Schaefer and Terry W. (Vicky) Schaefer, along with numerous grand nieces and nephews and great grand-nieces and nephews in the Adamski, Grimmig, Schaefer and Wolf families. Her kind and caring nature was an inspiration.
Helen and Charlie were married on February 1, 1941 and began their business partnerships together, traveling the country catering to their customers with sales promotional products. Mrs. Morgan was also active volunteering in the St. Louis County Older Residents Programs, (C.O.R.P.), where she was awarded the Volunteer of the Year Award in 1985.
The family expresses their appreciation for the excellent care of the staff at Manor Grove and SSM Hospice.
SERVICES: Visitation will begin at 9:30 am on Friday January 13th with the service officiated by Reverend Ronald Follmer at 10:30 am at the Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa, St. Louis, Mo., with interment to follow at the service at St. Peter's Cemetery on Lucas and Hunt Road.
