Gilbert Holland of St. Louis, MO passed away peacefully in his home Sunday, December 29th at the age of 91. He was born on December 12, 1922. Surviving are granddaughter Brenda McGlothlin and "adopted" granddaughter Michelle Lawinsky, sister Hazel Wehunt one step son-in-law, 2 step daughter-in-laws, step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Among those preceding him in death was one brother, two sisters, his first wife Gussie Holland, daughter Mary Jane Rose, grandson Brian McGlothlin and second wife Lola Holland.
Funeral service to be held at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St. Louis, MO on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Visitation Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Condolences may be offered at www.hoffmeistersouthcounty.com.
