Edward Ray McLaughlin, 94, was born in McKeesport, PA on May 4, 1923. He attended Capital University, and served in the Pacific as a Marine during WWII. Upon his return home, he married his love of 64 years, Nell Kear. Ray was devoted to his family and friends, was an avid sports fan and participant, and always appreciated a good piece of pie.
Edward passed on Friday, September 1, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Nell (nee Kear) McLaughlin; loving father of E. Ray (Patricia) McLaughlin and JoAnn (Stephen) Kurland; dear grandfather of Elijah (Lisa Vlamis), Alexander (Dolores Pequeno), and Sam McLaughlin, Hannah (Andrew Kaminski), and Lily Kurland, and great-grandfather of Callum and Noah McLaughlin.
