Daniel Lee Dace

Beloved son of Dona Lee Turpin and Delbert Lee Dace; dear father of Benjamin and Katie Dace; dear brother of Dawn (Peter) Ouchi; dear uncle of Connor and Ryann Ouchi; our dear cousin, friend, and neighbor.

Dan was a sensitive soul who loved his family, friends, nature and sports. His natural athletic ability brought him many hours of joy and camaraderie with his ice hockey/baseball teammates and golfing buddies. He loved to watch the Cardinals and the Blues and play Scrabble and Shanghai Rummy, more for the company around the TV or the kitchen table than anything else. Music moved him, and guitar was his instrument of choice. He felt at peace in the outdoors, fishing, hunting, caring for his farm and sheep, and walking on the beach looking for sharks’ teeth. His dogs, Jofa, Molly and Jake, were his constant companions. His children were his heart, his father his rock and his mother his everything. We will miss him greatly.
