Clare J. Andert

Clare was the beloved daughter of the late Thomas and Julia (nee Burke) Andert; loving sister of Edward "Jack" Andert; cherished aunt of Thomas (Mary), Mark, Stephen (Helen), Sr. Joan SSND, Gerry (Julia), John, and Bob (Pat) Andert, Edward (Frank) Stobart, Francine (Mike) Dawson, Margaret (the late Larry) Makorow, Jane (Mark) Buckley, Daniel W. Andert, Karen (Shawn) Wallace, Lisa (Timothy) Milliano; Pat (Stuart) Valentine, Jeanne Jacober, Fran (Bill) Lucchesi, and Susan (the late Tom) Davis; grand-aunt and great-grand-aunt, great-great grand-aunt, cousin, and a friend to many.

Clare was preceded in death by her siblings Thomas (the late Delores) Andert, Mary (the late Leo) Kaczerowski, James (the late Mary Ann) Andert, Jane (the late John ) Bernstetter, and Dan (the late Inez) Andert.

Clare was a graduate and proud alumnus of Loretto Academy. She entered the Sisters of Loretto and although she did not continue with a vocation, she remained active with the Sisters of Loretto. She was devoted to her family and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Clare's family would like to thank the Laclede Groves Skilled Nursing staff for their dedication and compassionate care given to Clare.

No flowers, please. Instead, contributions to the Sisters of Loretto, School Sisters of Notre Dame, or the American Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by her family.

A visitation will be held Thursday, July 28 from 10-11am at Hoffmeister Colonial Mortuary, 6464 Chippewa Street 63109. A Funeral Service will follow at 11am. Interment Calvary Cemetery.
