When the Meyer family moved in across the street from me when I was a kid, I was beyond excited... they had a daughter & she was my age (5 days older to be exact)!    Cindy & Karl were always welcoming and let me over anytime (which was a lot).  My favorite memory is Cindy was at a job interview & Stacy & I were so excited we created this cheer to surprise her with if she got the job.  I vividly remember her standing in the front yard and saying “I got the job!”   She watched us do our cheer with a huge smile on her face.    I know the closeness you had with your mom, I witnessed it as a child and I know that is an unshakeable bond.  I’m praying for you everyday and you and your dad have been in my thoughts constantly.  

Cindy and Karl are my Aunt and Uncle through marriage (her brother is my step dad), but I also consider them our friends.  I can never remember a time when Cindy was not a vibrant, happy person.  She was always positive and funny and I love those qualities in a person.  We've always had such a great time playing games on holidays!  I will never forget one year she celebrated her dieting success and wore red leather pants!  She looked great in those leather pants!!  We will miss you so much Cindy, and we love you!! 

I became friends with Stacy while working at Children's. At that time I not only gained a friend but an extended family as well.  Cindy was always so nice and friendly. She had a personality that made you feel comfortable and at ease. She had a wonderful sense of humor and would make me laugh often. It's not always the cool thing to hang out with your friend's parents when you are in college or a young adult but some of my favorite times were just hanging out the lake with the Meyers. I loved waking up sipping coffee, playing games and enjoying good conversation on the patio.  Cindy you will be greatly missed.  

Cindy and Karl came to us through marriage. Though not really related, they both have always treated us like family. Especially when our kids came along. They doted on Scott and Cora as if they were their own nephew and niece. I will always remember the sparkle in Cindy's eyes when the kids opened a gift from her. Or how she actively engaged them in conversation, even when they became teenagers who were less likely to be chatty. I know we will all miss her.

One of my fondest memories of Cindy was during a 4th of July weekend at the lake a couple summers ago.  Looking for something to do on a rainy holiday we all went to the Ozark Distillery for a tour (and samples of course!).  The best part of the tour was watching and listening to Cindy interact with the owner of the distillery.  My side was hurting from laughing the whole time, especially when she told the owner he didn't know what good whiskey was because he didn't like Fireball.  I'm pretty sure the whole room of people was laughing as well.  That's the Cindy I'll never forget...the person that can make anyone laugh no matter what the situation was.  Gone too soon but never forgotten.  Rest in peace Cindy.

We didn’t know Cindy that well but always had fun and conversation at the Point Pool! She is at Peace now and Prayers and strength to all her family and friends! Our deepest sympathy to all of you!

Cindy was my Aunt by marriage.  She was a kind, open hearted, fun loving person!  We spent many holidays together over the years.  I love that Cindy enjoyed life and always had fun!  I’m so glad she retired early and got to live life to the fullest for a few years.  She loved to sing & dance, play games, make new recipes and share them, and she loved cake!  She loved sharing pictures of Skeeter and her granddog Gunny.  She was an animal lover.  Most importantly, she enjoyed spending time with family.  One of my favorite memories of us is dancing and having a blast to a song that Cindy requested at Thanksgiving (Stacy has a video).  So much fun!!  She was ecstatic about having a grandbaby and it makes me happy to see her profile picture of her holding Tyler.  It is a beautiful picture ❤️  Cindy was a beautiful woman who will truly be missed.  We love you Cindy!!



Your mom and I used to play “beep beep, the little Nash rambler” ( on record player and 45 vinyl)  over and over again in the basement on Theodore (walnut park) .  We would walk around to the tempo and speed up as the song got quicker.  We were so cool!!!

Another memory was driving around in her little car.  We would sing to the tunes on the radio.  Your mom was the only one that could sing the song “rock the boat” using only 1 note. 

I remember the photos of Cindy and Dawn  in their dance costumes.  Aunt Connie made the cutiest costumes.  
Many great memories as we were growing up. 

Karl, you were the love of her life.  Stacy, your mom was the best mom.   Tyler is the grandbaby she prayed for.  

I’m sad Cindy is in heaven but happy she is no longer suffering.

Cindy's mom and my mom were first cousins. Our family traveled often to St. Louis from the Chicago area to visit. It was always very fun.  Cindy's dad, who was my Uncle Herman and my godfather, barbequed many times. To this day, it is the best barbeque I ever tasted!  When we were about junior high age, Cindy liked to play beauty pageant with her baseball cards.  She'd line up her favorite Cardinal players and we'd discuss their merits. But the fix was in.  Cindy always decided the winner and it was always Tim McCarver!

One evening (high school age) Cindy and I went to the movies. Her father had given her the family car for our outing. We were very responsible and headed home when the movie was over. We just had a small mishap in the parking lot.  Instead of backing out, Cindy decided it would be better to pull forward and drive out straight. It would have been a good idea had it not been for the concrete divider at the end of the space. We bounced right over it, puncturing the gas tank. Cindy confessed when we got home. I was amazed when Uncle Herman just shook his head and said he was glad no one was hurt. I thought he would be furious, but he was his usual gentle self.  I loved that man!

I will always remember Cindy for her generous nature and her ready laughter.

I remember when Herman and my grandmother,Mary, got married. I told grandma,"our family is getting bigger." She smiled and said yes. Then she introduced me to Cindy and Karl. 
You will be forever in my thoughts and prayers. 

Dear Carl, Stacey & Len,
Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this most difficult time.  I have many fond memories of birthday parties and holidays with all of our families.  And you all have your memories which you will have forever as well.  And Stacey,  you gave her the best gift ever,  the grandchild that she wanted so much!

I met Cindy years ago I did her nails. I moved away to the Mississippi gulf coast when I moved back 14 years later it was like I never moved she welcomed me right back into her life!! She was kind and funny!! We talked about lunch however never got the chance we were busy her with moving closer to her grandson that she was over the moon about!! Tyler your Grandma couldn't wait to meet you!! And she got to so happy she did!!

I never got the opportunity to meet Cindy but I love seeing pictures of her holding Tyler. You can tell it would brighten her day everytime! 💖

Any time I went to Mrs. Cindy’s house with Stacy, she always made me feel welcome & told me funny stories about Stacy.  Always welcoming & loving. 

I will always cherish the times I got to spend with Cindy. Especially hanging out at the lake, which was one of her favorite places to be.
