Dear wife of 51 years to Jerry P. McBroom.

Beloved mother of Timothy (Pam) Alexander, Susan Lovins and Cathy (Troy) Pieper.

Dear grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of 6. Dear sister of Adeline Illert and David Miller. Our dear sister in law, aunt, great aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Betty was retired from American Can Company. She was a hard worker who was very loving to all of her family. In lieu of flowers, please make expressions of sympathy in Betty’s memory to American Cancer Society for Research or St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Hoffmeister South County Chapel 1515 Lemay Ferry Road on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
