Burns, Bernard M. of St. Louis, formerly of Metamora, Illinois, baptized into the hope of Christ’s resurrection on August 6, 2014. Dear husband of the late D. Marie Burns (nee Marcello). Proud and loving father of Marcella (Francis Michael) Curley, Michael (Nancy), Dennis (Mona), Angela Burns, Joseph (Michelle), Melanie Burns, Bernadette Burns, Lucy Marcello and the late Josephine Burns. Brother and best friend of Ann Burns, the late Margaret Burns and the late Kathleen Marino. Grandpa of 16, great-grandpa of 15, brother-in-law and friend.

Mass of Christian Burial conducted Monday, August 11, 2014 at 10am at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in St. Louis. The inurnment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in Gillespie, Illinois at 1:30pm.
