MUNGLE, Audrey Faye (nee Tallent), 77 of Festus, MO stepped into eternity and the loving embrace of the arms of Jesus on January 29, 2016. Born September 6, 1938 to Jesse Ray and Viola Elizabeth (nee Long) Tallent in Patton, MO

Audrey is survived by Husband Arnold Lee Mungle, sons Jeffrey (Tammy) Mungle and Joe (Christine) Mungle, grandchildren Alisha Schamel, Jeffrey (Jessie) Mungle, Joshua Mungle, Jonathan Spence, Alexandra Brown, Austin Mungle, Samantha Mungle and Grace Mungle, great grandchildren Jordan Asta, Miyanna Asta, Mackenzie Schamel, Michael Schamel, Aiden Mungle, Ethan Mungle, Logan Mungle, Lilly Mungle, Anna Mungle, Theodore Harold, Will Brown and Felicity Brown and sisters Betty Ruth Presnell and Sophia Pearl Dean Wagner.

Audrey was preceded in death by her father Jesse Ray Tallent, mother Viola Elizabeth Tallent (nee Long), brothers Norman Ray Tallent, Donald Clinton Tallent, and Jackie Tallent, sister Bonnie Rose Davenport and daughter Monica Faye Mungle.

Audrey Graduated from Patton High School in 1956. After high school, she worked at Patton General Store. She married Arnold Lee Mungle of Patton, MO on January 24, 1959 and soon moved to St. Louis, MO. After moving, she worked for Lemay Bank as a teller for several years and then became the secretary to the Vice-President of the bank for a few years before becoming a mom. She was a member of Church in Action.

Funeral service at Hoffmeister South County Chapel at 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd., St. Louis, MO 63125 on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation at Hoffmeister on Monday, February 1, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Memorial donations in Audrey’s honor appreciated to Susan G.
