

LAMPMAN, Anna B. (nee Owens), 95 of Saint Louis, a sleep in Jesus. She passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on May10, 2016. Anna was the loving wife of the late John D Lampman. She is survived by her daughter Mary Polston, granddaughters Anna (Eric) Green and Charlotte Polston. Anna is also survived by her great grandchildren Stephanie Garner, Amber Erdelen, Brandon Green, Nicholas Erdelen, Alex Reed, great great grandchildren Maygen Garner and Addison Moore. She is also survived by two sisters Lovey Elizabeth Rosenzweig, and Allie Marie Rollens.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents Harrison and Nora Margret (nee Meyers) Owens. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Albert Houston “Boots” Owens and Albert W. “Jack” Owens. Anna was further preceded in death by her sisters, Effie Belle Owens, Louisa Belle Owens and Dollie Mae Weathers.
Anna was an Aunt, great Aunt, great great Aunt and good friend to many.
Anna lived in both Potosi and Saint Louis Missouri as well as in Arkansas. At the age of 9 during the “Depression Era” she began working in the lead mines to help her family. Later during World War II she worked in a factory making uniforms, belts, ammo belts and tents to support the War effort. Her work during the War made her member of the Rosie the Riveter Association.
Anna loved cooking and spent countless hours embroidering, leaving behind many works of art for family and friends. She also loved camping with the family.
Anna was a woman of deep faith. She dearly loved her Lord and her family. While she will be missed by her family we trust she is in the arms of her Lord and God.
SERVICES: A visitation for Anna will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Friday, May 13th at Hoffmeister South County Chapel, 1515 Lemay Ferry Rd. Saint Louis, MO 63125. Immediately following the visitation the service will follow in the funeral home chapel.
A second visitation will be offered from 5-7 pm on Monday, May 16th at the Wills Funeral Home, 3513 Harrison St, Batesville, AR 72501. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am Tuesday, May 17th at the Dugan Pentecost Church, 24006 AR-14, Mountain View, AR 72560. Interment will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery, Locust Grove AR.
