So many memories of my beautiful funny friend , I miss her so much .

Sally was the most wonderful, loving and kind person I have ever had the luck to know . As a neighbor and friend we shared many good times from hanging out together when the kids were little , going Christmas shopping and spending time together in Florida. Dinner at the Columbia was so much fun and meeting at the St. Augustine outlets allowed us to reconnect and reminisce about our time together on Lincoln as neighbors . You were such an inspiration to me as I watched you interact with kids in your care and see how much they loved you. I carry  that with me as I raised my own children. I also loved your positive attitude and joyful essence in everyday situations. I will miss you so much but you will always have a place in my heart and mind ❤️

Rest in Peace, Sally. Thank you for your generosity!

            I am so sorry for your loss….it’s hard to find the right words to say.   First, your mom loved you boys so much !  She was very proud of all of you !  Marty, to lose your wife of 50 years is heartbreaking…..You were  the love of her life right to the end.  She was a very happy and kind person. I used to love to make her laugh. 
I’m so thankful for the times we went to Las Vegas, Atlantic City, and St. Augustine….and got to see you both just before I moved.  
      You have many happy memories to get you through this.  My heart is heavy too….I will miss her very much , 🦋

Sally was full of life!  Excitable, enthusiastic, joyful, thoughtful, considerate, funny and full of laughter!
I can see her smile and hear her little chuckle.
We shared so many happy and joyful memories on our vacations together.
The beach house on Holden beach, North Carolina, brings warm sea breeze memories. The girls, Sally, Vicky, Joan and Rosie shopping for beach towels at Myrtle Beach 1989.  We still  have one beach towel left.  
Our Caribbean cruise, ST Thomas beach and visiting NASA  Space Centre in 2007.     The Beach house on the North Shore of Hawaii.
Sally always loved going to the beach.

Sally O'Connell - one of a kind!  We laughed and cried; sang and danced; ate and drank; loved and loved and loved!!!  We became a family.  Sal we know you took the backroads to get where you were going just remember to keep a watch over LDL!!!  We miss you but are warmed by all the amazing memories in our hearts. My friend Sally the memories come flooding in . The children we have the times spent with them together the fun trips with we took so many ! Marty ,Sally and the boys sharing their vacations with me  Joey and Diane after my husband passed  One of the best days of my life when a young woman walked up to me over 45 years ago in Babylon and said hi my name is Sally ! How blessed I am to have had her as my friend.
  

Dear Marty and Family, Carol and I express our deepest sympathies on the loss of Sally.  I know in recent years she had endured many challenges that you and your sons had to guide her through. There was clearly a strong love and devotion shown in the kindness you all exhibited . She is with God and in restful peace now and there will be a time you will be united. Marty, you are a wonderful and caring man and may the many fond  memories of your lives together be the inspiration to sooth your heart in the coming days . May God grant you the strength to bless your life moving forward . 

So many wonderful thoughts and memories come to mind when I think of Sally, my true friend. We may not have been close in distance but I could always count on her to put a smile on my face and lift my spirits , even on the telephone. She  made everyone happy. Sally’s and Marty’s was a true love story. Matt and Danny and Mark were the loves of her life. Marty, you and the boys will always be in my thoughts and my prayers.
