Janet Duquette

Although Janet knew this was a fight she could not win she fought hard and always with a smile on her face. Janet was the daughter of the late Clifford Duquette and the late Jacqueline Larocque. She is survived by her sisters Linda (late Gary Taylor), Gail and brother Curtis. Also by her nieces and nephews Mark and Jenifer, Tracy and Sylvain and Glen. Her great nieces and nephews Gabrielle, Lance, Michael, Mackenzie, Shane, Ryan and Andrew and her great great nephew Cole, as well as many cousins and friends.

We would like to thank the nurses and staff at the Oncology dept of the Royal Victoria hospital, especially Dr Asselah, Daphnee and Jennifer. Also the staff and many volunteers at Maison Victor Gadbois, especially Dr Elyse Gagnon.

The family will receive condolences at the Maison Darche at 6500, Cousineau Boulevard, St-Hubert on Friday July 14 from 10:30 to 12:30 to be followed at the Paroisse St-Hubert at 5310, Chemin de Chambly for a Mass at 1:00. Interment will take place at Urgel Bourgie Memorial Gardens 8145 Chemin de Chambly, St-Hubert.

C’est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous annonçons que Janet Kathleen Duquette, fille de feu Jacqueline Larocque et feu Clifford Duquette, nous a quittés très tôt le matin du 12 juin à La Maison Victor-Gadbois à l’âge de 68 ans, entourée de sa famille.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses sœurs Linda (feu Gary Taylor) et Gail, son frère Curtis, ses neveux et nièces Mark et Jenifer, Tracy et Sylvain et Glen, ses nombreux petits-neveux et petites-nièces Gabrielle, Lance, Michael, Mackenzie, Shane, Ryan et Andrew, son arrière-petit-neveu Cole, ainsi que plusieurs cousins, cousines et amis.

La famille tient à remercier le personnel du département d’oncologie de l’Hôpital Royal Victoria Dr Asselah, Daphnée et Jennifer ainsi que le personnel et les bénévoles de La Maison Victor-Gadbois tout particulièrement Dre Elyse Gagnon.

La famille recevra les condoléances le vendredi 14 juillet de 10h30 à 12h30 à La Maison Darche 6500 Boul. Cousineau, St-Hubert, QC. Une cérémonie suivra à compter de 13h00 à la Paroisse St-Hubert 5310 Chemin de Chambly, St-Hubert, QC. L’inhumation des cendres se fera aux Les cimetières-jardins Urgel Bourgie 8145 Chemin de Chambly, St-Hubert, QC.
