Matthew W. (Pops) Key, 51, of Florissant, passed away on June 14, 2013. He was the husband of 30 years to Connie Key. He is also survived by his mother Sondra Gentry, children Jerry, Daniel and Nicole Key; grandchildren Julius Jones, Amaya Key and Payton Duncan; brother Landon Key and a nephew Rich Key. He was preceded in death by his father Richard L. Key.
Mr. Key loved nothing more than spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren. He was an avid fisherman and camper, enjoyed baseball, helping his boys build pinewood derby cars for Boy Scouts. He also cherished time with his daughter, leaving memories of attending fun father-daughter dances.
A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home, 11101 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Ann, Mo. Memorial visitation will be held from 2 p.m. until the time of service.
