Aunt Mary Ann.. I'm so sorry I never got in touch with you all these years. There hasn't been a day that's gone by that I haven't had a cherished memory from my childhood.. and how I looked forward to your summer visits.. especially with Billy.. boy could he make people laugh.. You have so many loved ones with you now so you will never be lonely.. Give my mom and dad a big hug from me. Love Your Niece and God Daughter.

Nana (Grandma Maryann), 
As we all miss you so much and everyday goes by and we keep waiting for you to call. We want to share with you about our new home, Miah graduating Pre-School as I know you would have been so happy to see her with her little cap and gown. My heart is broken as well, I miss talking to you about everything. I could share with you when I was upset with Bill and knew you never judged, then you would tell me a funny story about you and Bob. I will hold on to you in my heart forever. My family, friends, co-workers who met you or knew you through me were so intrigued and loved hearing any story I could share that would make everyone love you even in a distance. You touched so many lives, you never knew a stranger. I remember every dinner out and you would stop to tell anyone and everyone about your beautiful Great Granddaughter and I'm sure they were like okay lady, we get it our children or grandchildren are beautiful too. But in the end you would convince them that she was the best. Bill would be embarrassed and dashing for the door because he didn't want to talk to anyone. LOL He just wanted to get out the door. I miss our 4th of July parties and you would always have a drink and we would laugh. Our Mexican margarita's. You were an absolute amazing woman. I wish I could just call Heaven and talk too you. I have a message on my phone from you and Miah's book that Laura helped you with, that we will hold forever. On top of all this Papa is so sad and lost, he always played tough but his heart is crushed and I can barely bare seeing him like this. Bill checks on him daily. We will all watch over him until the day you get to reunite. You were and inspiration to marriage and long commitment that this world don't hardly get anymore. We love you and miss you sooooo much... Your little girl is doing good and excited about going to Kindergarten, she sleeps with the little stuffed dog you gave her. She don't like to talk about you not being here but she won't let anyone touch anything you gave her. Kisses and hugs to Heaven. Grandma, 
We all miss you so much! I'm having a hard time realizing that you're really gone; but I find comfort that your beautiful spirit lives on in everyone you touched.

I am sad that you won't be here to greet my little girl coming into the world, but I know that you're with her now until God sends her to be in our arms in June. 

The memories and stories we have are priceless. Thank you for being a part of our lives and being the best grandma a girl could ever have. Your love is endless and you are our angel forever. I love you.

The New Year's parties were the best,
Some of my greatest memories
The one time of year you made sure all parties gathered 
For your famous lasagna and stories that will last centuries

Though it came to light last night
I didn't know some were still unaware,
That while the adults were enjoying spirits 'round the table,
Us kids were doing the same thing in the doll room upstairs!

Our times together got further apart 
as I grew older and moved away,
But oh how Ill miss our breakfast rendezvous 
At our favorite place: Mimi's Cafe.

I'll think of you every time I go shopping
Especially at Macy's and Kohls 
And even more so when I have a coupon 
Tho none of my purchases could possibly be as fashionable as yours.

Your kids, grandkids, and now the great ones
Brought you the greatest joy.
We have a bond with you forever
that not even death can destroy.

Your family was your life
Especially your one and only man
The one who through 60 years of sickness and health,
Was always there to hold ur hand .

I knew your heart was growing tired,
still I couldn't bear the thought of you leaving me.
But I know your friends were luring you
With two kinds of cake and coffee!

Your welcoming committee was large, I'm sure,
with your baby Bill at the front line
and I think of the party being had

You would have loved the crowd here last night

Like Ashley's baby due in June,

Dear Mom,
   I have waited to write this because my heart is broken and I can't except that you are really gone. You were not just my Mother but also my best friend and I will miss talking to you everyday. You made me laugh everyday!
   Today was Ashleys baby shower, and I know how much you would have loved being there. We missed you so much today! I cry for you everyday and I want my Mom back! A big hole is in our hearts now that you are gone.
   I hope Bill was there to great you when you reached heaven. I'm sure all your relatives and friends that went befor you had a big party when you got there. 
    I know you were getting weaker and weaker but we did not expect you to go as fast as you did. I know it was probably a blessing for you but our hearts are broken and we miss you.
    I can't bring myself to say goodbye,so I will just say until we meet again.

It's difficult for me to comprehend that you are really gone. I can't believe it has already been a week. I miss you so much already, but I have so many wonderful memories to keep forever. You were the best Nana a girl could ask for and would want to grow up with. I know you will still be watching down on me and I can't wait until the day I get to see you again. Whenever I am struggling I will always remember your quote of advice "What's meant to be will be". I love you grandma.

MaryAnn; You should be pleased with all of the flowers and people that showed up to say good-bye.  Many pictures and a great video showed your life.  I think that you were smiling and laughing in all of the pictures.  Your parish priest, Barbara and Laura offered great eulogies. You will be missed by all, me too. See you some day.

So sorry to hear of Maryann's passing - Please accept our deepest sympathies.  Maryann was always smiling and was always so nice.  I loved her New York accent too.  May she Rest in peace.

I can't tell you how much we all will miss you. Our hearts are so sad but we have no doubt you are an angel in Heaven and with Bill's Dad, and many other loved ones. You have forever made an impact on myself and my children. Miah will always hear about you until my last breath! I have your locket for her to wear and save with you and Papa's pics. We have the beautiful book recorded to her. You were the most lovely beautiful woman I have ever known. I will love and care for Bill and always get through everything that crosses our path. I know I promised you that and I will for sure follow through, I will also be sure Miah goes to PSR classes and knows the Catholic faith. We love you forever and ever. Your smile and laughter will forever live in our hearts and the love you had for us all. You have been the most loving woman and filled Bill with hugs and kisses and he has always told me how much that meant to him. Love you Nana, Grandma Maryann! I know you are watching over all of us, and Bob misses you so badly already, so we are going to keep him busy with Miah as much as we can.

I'll miss my sister, MaryAnn, so much.  We talked on the phone every day even though we were so far apart.  I'll always remember the funny things she did.  To Bob, Barbara, Robert and all the family, I'll pray that you get through this terrible time.  Remember she's with Billy and the rest of the family she loved so much.

My heart is broken, I always said I hit the lottery when I got in laws, MaryAnn has been my mother-in-law for 35 yrs., and we have loved each other since I was 18 yrs.old, she has been like a mother to me, she will truly be missed, thanks for all the memories, I love you, that's how we ended every conversation.

Thanks Maryann for all the memories & fun times we have had together over many years!  Will miss you greatly but will smile when I think of you!

Dear Uncle Robert, Barbara, Little Robert, Kim and family..

We are so very sorry and I am heart broken.  Aunt Maryann was one of the most gorgeous creatures, inside and out, to ever walk this Earth.  I looked so forward to every Lowery family funtion because I knew she would be there.  When we would have conversations she would look me straight in the eye and make me feel like I was the only one in the room.  She just fascinated me with her beauty, her gracefulness, and her style.  Her smile was full of love and laughter.  About a year ago, John and I were on a date night to Concetta's restaurant in St. Charles.  To our delight, we were seated right by her, Uncle Robert and a group of their friends.  When she saw us, she came right over with a big hug and smile and immediately sat down right at our table to visit!!  LOL!  We talked about her childhood in NY, how she met my uncle, Robbie and the granddaughters, and then she asked me if I remembered "her" Billy.  With great joy and pride, she told us all about her great-great-granddaughter and how she was the light of their lives.  Aunt Maryann told us that her and Uncle Robert were having the time of their lives with her.  She said that she loved to watch Uncle Robert and her on the swings. She was so thankful that they had a living, breathing part of Billy's life.  May all of you hold her close to your soul and feel the comfort and presence of Christ near you.
