Kenneth “Kenny” Christensen, 52, of Denton, TX (formerly of Overland, MO) passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 3, 2020. He is preceded in death by his father, William Christensen. Kenny is survived by his mother, Dorothy Christensen; siblings, Michael (JoAnn) Christensen, Robyn (Tim) Mitchell, and Lisa Epperson (Jim Munro); nieces and nephews, Andrea (Kyle), Steven, Evan, Emma (Luke), Courtney, and Jacob; great nephews, Elijah, Tobias, Jameson, Bennett, and Rhett; and Godfather to Courtney and Blake and four children of close friends. Kenny not only leaves behind family but many, many lifelong friends and new friends he added to his life in his journeys along the way.
Kenny was an avid hunter and fisherman with a great love for the outdoors. He was outgoing and fun-loving, loved to cook and was known to many as the Bar-B-Que pit master. He loved riding his motorcycle and going on road trips, enjoyed golfing, and just being around the people he loved. Kenny was a dedicated son and always checked in with his mom even after he moved to Texas. Kenny’s dynamic personality and sense of humor had him continually surrounded by friends. He was a big man in stature with an even bigger heart. Kenny’s impeccable character and contagious personality left an impact on everyone and he will be deeply missed.
Friends may visit on Friday, December 11, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann, MO. A service to celebrate his life will be on Saturday, December 12 at 10 a.m. Memorials are appreciated to the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
