BLACK, Helen Louise (nee Janzen), 83, passed away at Twin Oaks at Heritage Point in Wenztville, Missouri. She had been a resident there since 2012. Helen was born in Gypsum, Kansas but moved to East Peoria, Illinois at an early age. She married Luke Spinder and had two daughters, Cathy Tim) Speerly of Warsaw, Missouri and Denia (Don) Zuch of Wentzville, Missouri. She later married Willard “Blackie” Black and moved to Danville, Illinois. Blackie’s two sons, Bill and Bob Black reside there. Helen and Blackie eventually moved to Mesa, Arizona where they enjoyed an active retirement and 27 wonderful years together. They had seven grandchildren; Rob, Debbie, Shelley, Doug, Brian, Steve, and Carrie and thirteen great grandchildren, all of whom were the love of their lives. Helen was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, friend, nurse, and animal lover. She will be missed by all who knew her.
