Harold “Harry” James Richter, 73, of Moscow Mills, MO passed away on September 16, 2020. Born on July 24, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to Wilbert and Fayeth Richter who preceded him in death, as well as two siblings, Ronald L. Richter and Patricia A. Richter. He is survived by his siblings, Debbie Richter, Richard (Janet) Richter, and Steven (Sheryl) Richter; nieces and nephews, Matthew, Heather, Stacey, Steven Jr., Kara, Amie, and Kimberly; and great nieces and nephews, Tyler, Lily June, Jenna, Leah, Aubree, Leighton, Aiden, Grayson, Jason, Macy, Zain, Addalynne, and Ronya. Harold was a dear brother, uncle, cousin, and friend.
Harold was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Army. He was an avid baseball fan and passionate coach who helped develop many players along the way.
Harold retired from MEMC in St. Peters MO.
Family and friends may visit on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 from 10 a.m. until noon. Service to follow at Alexander White Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann. He will then be laid to rest at Mt. Lebanon Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of flowers, donations are appreciated to patriotpaws.org/donate. Patriot PAWS trains and provides service dogs at no cost to disabled American veterans.
Due to St. Louis County mandate with COVID restrictions, guests are limited to 75 and masks are required. No food or drink is allowed in the funeral home.
