Elaine Marie Holdner

Elaine Marie (nee Nelson) Holdner, 93, of Troy, MO passed away peacefully on January 17, 2018. She is preceded in death by her parents, Martin and Elva (nee Haake) Nelson; her husband of 50 years, Melvin Holdner; brothers, Robert and Lambert Nelson; and sisters, Lorraine Nelson and Betty (Tom) Wood. Elaine is survived by her children, Linda (Robert) Morse and Thomas (Heidi) Holdner; grandchildren, Tammy, Timmy, Nancy, Jeffery, Joseph, James, Andrew, and Lyle; great grandchildren, Branden, Cierra, Christopher, Connor, Carter, Charlie, and Gabrielle; and brother, Terrance (Nancy) Nelson.

Elaine was an ambitious and active little lady. She enjoyed working in her yard and garden and anything involving the outdoors. She was very close with her sister and spent a lot of time swimming and fishing with her. Elaine was a dedicated caretaker to her sister during her sister’s final years. She was a kind-hearted person who will be missed.

Friends may visit on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 10 a.m. until time of service at noon at Alexander-White-Mullen Funeral Home in St. Ann, MO. Interment will follow at Lake Charles Park Cemetery.
