In Memory of William H. Schilling Jr., February 21st 1934 – September 20th 2016. Originally born in Gainesville, Florida in 1934 and grew up in South Charleston, W.Va. where he attended South Charleston High. He married Norma Neely from West Virginia in August of 1954. He was drafted one year later into the U.S. Army Infantry where he gladly served and was on the Rifle Team in Germany. When he came home he took a job with McLean Trucking Company and was transferred in 1965 to Sharonville, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. He retired from Cummins Diesel in 1999. He was an avid photographer, animal lover and devoted father. He was preceded in death by his father William H. Schilling, and mother Marguerite Schilling; his siblings Marie, Maryanne and Frank Schilling and his wife Norma Jean Neely Schilling. He is survived by his daughter, Toni Michelle Estrellado of West Chester, Ohio, and son-in-law, Ric Estrellado; his siblings, James Schilling of St. Albans W.Va, Nancy Hundley of Clayton, N.C., and Buster Schilling of Houston, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. A celebration of his life will be 10 a.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans with H.R. Whittington as celebrant. Military rites will be conducted by St. Albans American Legion Post No. 73 and VFW Post No. 6418. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
