She was born November 17, 1933 in St. Albans and was the daughter of Kinsman and Mary Boso. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Smith; her son, David Smith; and her brother, Edward Riley Boso.
Nora was former owner and operator of The Choo Choo in St. Albans and was employed with Skateland. She attended Mt. Tabor Church of God. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Morris and her husband, Leonard; daughter-in-law, Donna Smith; grandchildren, Jeremy Atkins and his wife, Meredith, Joseph Robertson, and Wesley Smith and his wife, Kari; great-granddaughters, Mary, Daisy and Emma Atkins; several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Nora’s life will be 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 2, 2016 at Casdorph & Curry Funeral Home, 110 B Street, St. Albans with Pastor Steve Blake officiating. Burial will follow in Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans.
There will be a gathering of family and friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
