William 'Bill' passed away August 5, 2012 after a long struggle with lung cancer. Bill was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Sharon, and his only child, Mark. Bill is survived by his grandsons Mark, Jr., and Blake. He is also survived by his brother, Roger Beaman, his sister-in-law, Kathy Chapman and her daughter and son-in-law, Leeann and Greg Kaderabek and family.
Bill lived in Rancho Cordova for most of his adult life, and worked as an electrician at Aerojet for almost 41 years, attaining the position of Supervisor of Maintenance by the time he retired in 1998. He also had an electrical contractor's license and did electrical work on the side. Bill was an avid baseball fan and coached Little League for many years. After retirement Bill traveled frequently with his wife and his grandchildren to Hawaii and almost annually rented a cabin on the beach in Santa Cruz where he could go fishing. After Sharon's passing, Bill spent most of his time with his dog Heidi, and spent hours sitting on the bench in his driveway chatting with his neighbor of many years, J.0. Brown.
