Tom, my adopted little brother; my heart is so sad.   For almost nine years we worked together. But you were more than my co- worker, you were my friend, my pseudo little brother.  We shared so many stories.  You were brilliantly smart. I loved sharing stories with you.  You had such an eventful, colorful life. I know you loved your IT ( geek ) friends. You loved being a geek.  Your pizza/game nights with your friends were so special to you.  But when you met the woman who would become your wife, that was when I could tell your heart was happy. You were so proud of your new home. Life was good. I felt safe leaving, moving out of state, knowing my 'little brother' was happy and loved.         I am so sorry you could not enjoy more life here, but you are with your dad and someday, I will pop in on you at the computer, and wait patiently for you to acknowledge me ( lol  )  so we can share more stories.  Fly high and pain free my friend.   

I still see that adorable toddler who called me “Aunt Toogie” and stole a piece of my heart. ❤️ Rest In Peace. 

You will always have a place in my heart. Fly high and far. Godspeed. 

When I got my first apartment, you were the first friend I made. We bonded over D&D and computers. Without your guidance and encouragement I would not be where I am today. You were my "Obi-Code Kenobi", my mentor, and my inspiration. Most of all, you were my friend through thick and thin. You are not gone from my heart, and although we didn't see each other much the last couple of years, I knew that all I needed to do was call and we'd pick things back up like we never stopped.  I guess that call will not be happening now. Rest now, my friend. Sleep always was tough for you. We'll meet again and roll some dice.

This doesn't even seem real to me.  You were always such a tough guy,  I really admired and looked up to you.  You were a walking encyclopedia, and you were so funny.  My heart is hurting.  I hope you're doing whatever it is people do after they leave, and enjoying it.  I miss you, and love you.
