Steven Coley, 53, of Sacramento passed away December 1, 2012 after a long battle with an illness. His friends and family were by his side when he left to be with the Lord. He was born to Paul Edward and Yuriko Coley in Chiba, Japan on March 23, 1959. Steve graduated from Hiram Johnson High School in 1977 and attended American River College.
Steve will be missed and remembered for his wit and keen sense of humor. His life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. He also enjoyed fishing, and was an avid Nascar fan.
Steve leaves behind a son, Steven Paul Coley; his parents, Paul and Yuriko Coley; two sisters, Kyoko Thomas (Nate) and Amiko Stallworth (Darrell); a brother, Robert Coley (Marsha); and a cousin, Duane Knight. He also leaves behind several loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 6 at 4 p.m.at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home. 5401 Folsom Blvd., 95819. Please share memories of Steven and celebrate his life!
