He is survived by his son Eric Johnston, his mother Doris Johnston (Snell), his sister Margaret Morningstar, brothers Vince Johnston his wife Kelly, Tom Johnston his wife Miyoko. Niece Jennifer Johnston and nephews Phillip Jeremy, Nick & James Johnston. 5 great nephews and 4 great nieces, 1 great great niece.
He was proceeded in death by his father Thomas Johnston and brother Jim Johnston.
He was loved and will be missed by many cousins and friends.
A graduate of Christian Brothers HS and Sacramento State University.
